My Children Were Taken From Me at A Very Young Age — Veteran Nollywood Actress Bucky Wright Opens Up On Painful Past

Veteran Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright has opened up about the heartbreaking reason she ventured into acting, revealing that it all started after her children were taken away from her at a very young age.

Speaking in an emotional interview, the actress said she never chased fame or stardom when she entered the movie industry.

“I actually started acting so that when my children grow up, they would be able to, at least, I never thought of being a star, at least know where to find me,” she said.

Wright went on to explain that she lost access to her children after marrying into a wealthy family who looked down on her and doubted she would amount to anything in life.

“My children were taken from me when they were very young because I married into a very wealthy family, and they could not think I would become anything in this life. And here I am today,” she added as the audience applauded her emotional revelation.
