Speaking with Osmek News and Osmek Tv Africa, on Saturday, Ikechukwu Onwuka thanked his supporters for standing by him during this Period of Unfair Trial Pending the Outcome of the Primary Election that was short changed with the incumbent candidate whom he won with a large Margin. Hon. Philip Ikechukwu Onwuka—a key 2027 House of Representatives aspirant for the Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II in Lagos State—has reportedly resigned and defected from the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) following allegations of internal primary misconduct and mandate theft.
Grassroots Support Realignment: Onwuka is the founder of the Capital Movement, a non-partisan humanitarian and economic empowerment foundation active throughout Oshodi-Isolo. His departure is expected to draw a substantial portion of his grassroots backing and community coordinators away from the NDC
As preparations build for the 2027 general elections, Onwuka’s exit creates a major void for the NDC in Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency II while positioning him to align with alternative political platforms ahead of the official declaration period.
