Tell Your Dad to Get Me a Nigerian Passport — Streamer, IShowSpeed, Tells Seyi Tinubu After Meeting Him at the 2026 World Cup Final

American online streamer Darren Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed, shared a hilarious moment with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and his family during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on Sunday.

A clip from the streamer’s livestream captured Seyi Tinubu, dressed in a Spain jersey, seated in the VIP section with his children and other family members as Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 after extra time to lift the World Cup trophy.

Earlier in the day, IShowSpeed thrilled fans during the tournament’s closing ceremony, opening the pre-match entertainment with a performance of his latest single, “World Cup (Champions),” accompanied by drummers and dancers.

During the livestream, a man accompanying Seyi Tinubu informed the popular content creator that the president’s son was in attendance. IShowSpeed then walked over to greet the family, posed for photos with the children and exchanged pleasantries with Seyi.

“It is nice meeting you,” Seyi Tinubu told the American streamer after they shook hands.
The encounter ended on a humorous note when IShowSpeed joked, “Tell your dad to get me a Nigerian passport!” drawing laughter from those around before he continued with his livestream.

The playful remark comes months after IShowSpeed’s memorable visit to Nigeria during his Speed Does Africa tour, where he received an enthusiastic welcome from fans.

While in Lagos, the 21-year-old YouTuber livestreamed visits to popular attractions including Lagos Island, Freedom Park and the Nike Art Gallery. He also met Nigerian music stars Davido and Zlatan Ibile and celebrated his 21st birthday in the country.
