The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has been thrown into chaos mid-World Cup following explosive allegations that its president, Samir Xaud, misused federation funds to finance the lavish lifestyles of women with whom he had personal relationships. According to a shocking exposé by Brazilian media outlet Portal Léo Dias, documents reveal Xaud allegedly used CBF resources to fly fitness entrepreneur Camila Cristina Andrade to New York, booking her an eight-day stay at Manhattan’s luxury Hyatt Regency Grand Central under his name at a cost of $11,500. Brazil Football Confederation president, Samir Xaud, has been accused of using federation funds to pay for trips and hotel stays for women allegedly linked to him.

A Brazilian news outlet reported that fitness entrepreneur Camila Andrade spent eight days at a New York hotel on a reservation allegedly booked under Xaud’s name, costing about $11,500. Photos also allegedly showed the pair dining together in the city.

The report claimed Xaud later returned to Brazil before travelling to Mexico City to reunite with his wife, Natalia Xaud, ahead of World Cup events.

The outlet also alleged that Xaud previously funded a trip for model and influencer Tamares Fernandes Barcellos to Qatar in 2025, including a business-class flight and luxury hotel stay.

The Brazilian Football Confederation denied the allegations, stating: “Expenses incurred by the entity are exclusively linked to the CBF’s institutional activities, and personal expenses of its directors are covered by themselves.”

Reports further claimed Xaud paid the New York hotel bill after being contacted about the allegations. Despite the controversy, he later attended Brazil’s 3-0 win over Haiti and was seen alongside FIFA officials and football legends.
