Even If a Lady Invites on a Date, You Should Still Pay as the Man— Singer Magixx

Nigerian singer Magixx has stirred reactions online after sharing his views on dating expenses during a recent interview on Cool FM.

According to the singer, men who are financially comfortable should take responsibility for paying when they go out with a woman, regardless of who initiated the outing.

“If you have money as a guy, I mean if you’re comfortable and you take a girl out, you invited her out, you should pay because you invited her,” he said.

Magixx went further to state that men should still be willing to foot the bill even when the invitation comes from a woman.

“Even if the girl invited you, you should still pay most of the time I have girls invite me to clubs and I paid for the drinks,” he added.

However, when asked by the interviewer whether he would still hold the same opinion if he were not as successful as he is today, the singer admitted that his perspective might have been different.

“I don’t know if I would,” Magixx replied, laughing.
