RacingVic has been trying for an American runner for sometime and may get their wish this year with new owners placing the horse with Danny O’Brien with the express aim of running in the Melb Cup. Popular opinion suggests the staying form of horses from the US should be treated with caution, add to that the possibility of the horse having previously raced on some medication which may not allowed in Australia.
